Actually, alcohol is quite cheap in QT, it's set up for tourists, so most bars have to discount to get the patrons in. Housing/accommodation is expensive, the rest is no different to living that far from a main city

You can buy 1/2 day, full, or 3 day passes, but can upgrade each as you wish. About $165 for the 3 day, you take your own bike. They limit the number of Gondola's available to riders during dinner times, but if it's quiet, you only wait a minute or 2 at the bottom, if at all.
